Blue and Gold Celebration

So now that Jacob is eight he has entered the big world of scouting.  For the Blue and Gold birthday celebration of scouting they put together a circuit of activities for families to participate in. The first was a knot tying activity using Twizzlers.  The kids loved that they got to eat their work.  Then we moved on to ax throwing.  They got to practice hitting the target with tennis balls.  I tell you Wescott has a really good arm!

Then on to the shooting range.  Everyone got a turn with the Nerf guns.

Some were a bit wild with their aim.

Wes so proud of himself.

The last station was filled with minute to win it games.

There was also a game set up where you knock down a wall of cups with an exhaling balloon. That one was difficult to capture though.

The night was a lot of fun.  Will can't wait for the next pack meeting because he loved it so much.  The next one is the Pinewood Derby!  Stay tuned...
